The Evergreen League, now entering its ninth year, is a high school football league for independent schools in five New England states. The league is governed by specific bylaws, including limits on the number of post-graduates who can play for any one team. The league is split into two divisions, an East and West division, each with six teams. Play begins in late September, and playoffs start in mid-November.
